Planning Scheme Amendment

Following public consultation in September 2024, Council adopted the following flood studies on 30 October 2024:

• Isaac River Flood Study
• Clermont Flood Model and Hazard Mapping Study
• Moranbah Flood Model and Hazard Mapping Study
• Nebo Flood Model and Hazard Mapping Study
• Styx River and Plane Creek South Flood Study

Council is now updating the Flood hazard overlay mapping of the Isaac Regional Planning Scheme (the Planning Scheme) as part of a minor amendment in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Planning Act 2016.

This amendment will update the existing Flood Hazard Overlay mapping to incorporate the findings of the adopted flood studies.

Impacted landowners will be contacted in early 2026 at the time the amendment process is progressed.
