Reporting to the Team Leader, this position is responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance of community usage areas including sportsgrounds, parks, open space, cemeteries as well as park asset (furniture, tables/chairs, shelters) maintenance, tree maintenance, and irrigation repairs and maintenance for the Engineering & Infrastructures across Isaac Regional Council.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant certification for the operation of plant and equipment, horticulture and poison operations and minimum 12 months experience is essential
- C class drivers’ licence
- Construction Blue/White Card
- Ability to pass pre-employment functional assessment.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $65,227.21 - $66,375.54 per annum (Stream B, Level 2 – 3)
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
- Full Time, Permanent Position
- Based in Clermont
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
