Isaac Regional Council wishes to invite Isaac residents and community clubs to take part in the second free Domestic Waste Dump Day this November.
The free dump day will offer residents and community clubs an opportunity to dispose of any accepted domestic waste items for free.
The day will be held on Sunday, 23 November 2025 in each town at your local Waste Management Facility as below:

Items that would usually incur a fee to be accepted for recycling or disposal will be accepted free of charge during the Domestic Waste Dump Day on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
Residents and community clubs can also dispose of any household waste, green waste, scrap metal, ewaste, batteries, car batteries and waste oil which are free of charge all year round at any of Council’s waste management facilities.
To be eligible, residents and clubs will need to provide proof of their Isaac region residency with a valid driver’s license and/or a recent utility bill.
A limit of two (2) loads per resident and community club will be allowed and restricted to domestic waste only. Commercial businesses are not eligible to participate in the free dump day.
Domestic waste items that will be accepted include: (Quantity limits per resident apply)
- 4 x tyres - Up to 4 car, motorcycle or 4x4/ute tyres
- 2 x gassed items eg fridges/freezers /air conditioners
- 2 x mattresses with springs
- 2 x gas bottles &/or fire extinguishers - must be empty (up to 9kg each)
- 1 x car bodies and up to 5 tyres Note: No fuels, fluids, batteries or general rubbish accepted with car bodies. Subject to submission of application no later than COB Tuesday, 18 November 2025.
- 1 x ute or trailer load construction & demolition waste
Prohibited waste that will not be accepted are:
- Asbestos
- Regulated waste
- Chemicals, fluids, paints or fuels
- Commercial waste
Council advises that traffic at local waste management facilities may be heavier than usual and asks for residents’ patience. Please obey all road signage and be courteous to other road users.
