Public safety fire control line works, Moranbah

Council advises Moranbah residents that additional fire control line works will be undertaken behind residential properties between 136 and 154 Utah Drive and the units on Croker Court, commencing Tuesday, 21 July 2026 from 7am.

Vegetation management works will be carried out along property fence lines and within drainage areas in preparation for planned hazard reduction burns in the coming weeks. Access to the area via the end of Mills Avenue will be closed while works are underway.

Residents are requested to remove any personal items from outside their properties in marked work areas, as machinery will be operating close to fences.

Council also recommends keeping windows closed and avoiding hanging washing outside, as dust may be generated during the works.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and cooperation.
