Moranbah Landfill is back open

Isaac Regional Council advises the community of a temporary closure to Moranbah Landfill today, Wednesday, 16 April 2025 due to a breakdown in the operating equipment.

Council will update residents once repairs are complete and the landfill reopens.

The remainder of the site remains open to public as per normal operating hours.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience.
