Dysart WMF Upgrade

Council advises that upgrade works will be undertaken at the Dysart Waste Management Facility as part of the Repurpose to Transfer Station Project.

The upgrade works will improve operational efficiency and enhance site functionality.

Construction period

  • Commencing: Mid-August 2026
  • Duration: Approximately 16 weeks
  • Completion: Expected December 2026

The facility will remain open and operational throughout construction.

What to expect

  • Temporary changes to internal traffic routes and access arrangements
  • Increased construction vehicle movements
  • Temporary restrictions around work areas
  • Minor delays may occur

Visitors are asked to:

  • Report to the site office on arrival
  • Follow directions from site staff
  • Comply with temporary traffic signage and designated routes
